Dr. Daniel Goerl, OD
Dr. Daniel Goerl, OD, is a highly experienced and compassionate senior optometrist who brings a wealth of expertise to EyePro South Carolina. With over 25 years of practice in medical eye care, he has served communities in Northern Virginia, including Tysons Corner, Springfield, Herndon, Manassas, and Warrenton. Dr. Goerl obtained his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
Dr. Goerl has collaborated closely with ophthalmology and refractive LASIK surgery experts throughout his career. His dedication to patient care is evident as he has successfully managed thousands of patients at Whitten Laser Eye and TLC Laser Eye, guiding them toward vision freedom.
Dr. Goerl skillfully addresses eye infections and emergencies and offers effective dry eye treatments. Focusing on conditions like diabetes, glaucoma, and cataracts, he conducts thorough examinations to ensure optimal eye health. Moreover, Dr. Goerl is experienced in pre and post-operative LASIK surgery co-management, ensuring a seamless and successful vision correction experience for his patients.

Dr. Diana Carlson James, OD
Dr. Diana Carlson James, OD, is a compassionate and highly skilled optometrist who joined the Eye Pro Team in 2013 and again in 2022. Hailing from South Carolina, she comes from a family with a rich optometry tradition, following in the footsteps of her father and uncle. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she completed her Doctorate in Optometry at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, in 1984.
Dr. James gained valuable experience through a year-long Fellowship in Ophthalmic Practice with OMNI EYE Services of Fairfax, VA. She has served communities in Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach.
She is dedicated to providing comprehensive vision and medical exams, including treatments for dry eyes, allergy eyes, red eyes, and glaucoma at the Eyepro - South Carolina.
Beyond optometry, Dr. Carlson James finds joy in coastal living and being a Master Naturalist in various South Carolina and Virginia areas. She and her husband, Carter, share a love for practicing yoga and have a deep affection for animals.
